چکیده

A simple recurrent neural network was constructed to simulate a novel action selection dynamics. The selection process becomes complex when more than two action repertoires are possible. Even with a simple task, one often experiences making an unintentional form of movement or slip of action. One example is called a microslip, named and reported by Reed and Schoenherr. We propose a model of such slip-like behaviour based on the dynamical systems viewpoint.

Deformations and stresses with and without microslip

Kinematical definitions of deformations with and without microslip are presented. Transformation properties for such deformations are shown to follow directly from their definitions, and Burgers vector is related to the deformation without microslip. A limit procedure provides a concept of stress without microslip and leads to a natural concept of elastic response. Various decompositions of loc...

Structured deformations and the refinements of balance laws induced by microslip

Non-classical, "structured deformations" are used to describe microslip and to refine both balance laws and constitutive relations. The main tools employed are identification relations that link the ingredients in structui'ed deformations to geometrical changes at small length scales. Bifurcation analysis and dynamics of a Lorenz –type dynamical system

./files/site1/files/0Abstract1.pdfIn this paper we consider a continues Lorenz – type dynamical system. Dynamical behaviors of this system such as computing equilibrium points, different bifurcation curves and computation of normal form coefficient of each bifurcation point analytically and numerically. In particular we derived sufficient conditions for existence of Hopf and Pitchfork bifurcati...

Dynamical behavior and synchronization of hyperchaotic complex T-system

In this paper, we introduce a new hyperchaotic complex T-system. This system has complex nonlinear behavior which we study its dynamical properties including invariance, equilibria and their stability, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation, chaotic behavior and chaotic attractors as well as necessary conditions for this system to generate chaos. We discuss the synchronization with certain and uncerta...

Footprint Study of Ultrasonic Wedge-Bonding with Aluminum Wire on Copper Substrate

The effects of the process parameters of ultrasonic power and normal bonding force on bond formation at ambient temperatures have been investigated with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive x-ray (EDX) analysis. A model was developed based on classical microslip theory to explain the general phenomena observed in the evolution of bond footprints left on the substrate. Modifi...
